If your goals include serious piano study, we can achieve them
Working Hard, Working Smart
In addition to technical skills, you will learn the history of, and theory behind the pieces you study, so you can interpret them uniquely. You will learn the secrets for effective methods for practicing outside the lessons, so our training can move forward more quickly. I don't do the drill & kill learning thing - that's for people who are out of ideas or have some personal issues they need to work out - but I expect you to work hard, be serious, on time, not miss lessons. We'll create a plan and you will to hold up your end. And yes, to get to Carnegie Hall, you have to practice, practice, practice.
How You Benefit
You will be studying with a teacher who has given masterclasses at leading universities and festivals in America, including at Mannes and Julliard in New York; who has competed and won in national competitions; who has performed in Europe, the United States and South America (and yes, including Carnegie Weill Recital Hall); who has a Master's of Music Degree in piano and diploma in Music Pedagogy from University of Arts (UdK) in Berlin; and who has herself trained with some of the leading music professors in the world. You will enjoy all the benefits that this experience brings to your training.
My experience is a legacy that I can pass on to you. It enables me to train you technically as a pianist, and to prepare you psychologically and emotionally for the challenges you will face when performing and competing at the highest level.
If you are prepared to commit to it, you will reach your personal goals, whether it is to be really good, to be great, or to be professional. And for the rest of your life you will have your own musical legacy to share and enjoy and impress.
