Performing live builds confidence and gives students the chance to show what they can do.  Having performed all my life, I know what is involved - the butterflies, the excitement - so I know how to get you prepared technically and mentally before you put yourself out there.

Performing for Audiences & Judges

I participate in numerous private and public music organizations throughout Long Island (I am currently president of the AMTL, New York's oldest music organization) and offer my students many wonderful opportunities to showcase their accomplishments.

If you want to perform in front of small or large audiences, enter competitions, play for a judge, or just for family & friends, my students enjoy many opportunities for certification, and to compete and perform in prominent venues and lighthearted settings:

• NYSSMA (New York State School Music Association) evaluations
• Piano Guild (American College of Musicians) auditions
• Regional competitions, such as Steinway Piano Competition, NYYPP Competition and the SPTF Competition 
• SPTF Concerts at Staller Center, Stonybrook, NY
• AMTL Concerts at Queens College & Steinway Hall, NY
• Annual holiday benefit performance at Altria Senior Assisted Living Facility in East Northport, NY (with community service credit)
• Fundraiser performances for MusicLink Foundation
• Everyone's favorite: Our annual private summer Performance & Picnic Party with our entire student class and their families - an afternoon of student recitals followed by barbecue, swimming, and general mayhem
